Senior Stretching and Strengthening

Posture muscles are used for sitting, standing and walking. In our senior stretching and strengthening class we have taken Aaron Mattes’ Active Isolated Stretching techniques and applied them to a class format, specifically to stretch and strengthen posture muscles.

Stretching and strengthening of posture muscles, and more importantly, AIS, is an effective, dynamic, tool that provides functional and physiological restoration of superficial and deep fascial adhesions.

This class is done on massage tables and in chairs. It is constructive for people of all ages but especially geared to seniors. The environment is upbeat and playful.
